What is pepri

Pakhtunkhwa Economic Policy Research Institute (PEPRI) at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan as an ADP (Annual Development Plan) Project funded by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The mission of PEPRI is to enhance the understanding of the complex socio-economic issues and to produce unbiased economic research for the informed decision-making in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The institute is envisioned to promote research culture, decision-making based on the solid evidence, and policy relevant capacity building. The major objectives of the institute are to improve and disseminate policy relevant knowledge; analyze decision making processes, develop and propose sustainable growth models for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; develop and disseminate policies and strategies for different sectors of the economy, and propose broad-based economic and governance reforms; carry-out ex-post and ex-ante impact of the socio-economic and other policies; and suggest ways for the competitiveness of industries.
